It has come to our attention that in a very small number of incidents, the defrost timer on a certain production range of BEKO frost free refrigeration can fail, overheat, and cause a potential fire hazard. Orchard & Shipman are seeking to contact all households that have one of these products to arrange for BEKO to carry out a free of charge modification to the defrost timer.
Please check your fridge freezers. If they are Beko fridge freezers and the serial number (found on the label inside the fridge) begins with either 00,01,02,03,04,05 or 06 please call Beko on 0800 0094837 to arrange an appointment, alternatively contact your Tenancy Manager on 01895 208888 for assistance. In the meantime please remain observant and check your smoke alarms are in good working order.
