This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, ambitious and presentable “go-getter”, with the desire to lead by example and to inspire and motivate a growing team in Slough.Reporting directly to the Head of Lettings, the successful candidate will have responsibility for proactively growing their portfolio in the area and its surrounding environs, to maximize income and successfully meet and exceed set business targets. You will be ARLA qualified and have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in managing a successful lettings team, with demonstrable experience and knowledge of the general market area, the customer base, and the ability to market properties appropriately.
Commercial awareness, negotiating skills, and the ability to build rapport and develop strong internal and external working relationships are all key aspects to this post; as is an ability to train and develop team members in their individual careers and monitor team performance against business objectives. This is the ideal role for someone with a professional work ethic who enjoys the challenge of leading a team and meeting and exceeding targets. This is the ideal opportunity for a highly professional and motivated person with a positive “can-do” attitude, to support our Lettings team in West Drayton.From your experience of working in a similar, fast-paced, customer facing environment, you should be able to demonstrate that you have strong customer relationship skills; that you can multi-task, prioritise and manage your time so as to complete your work in line with set deadlines and company processes; and that you can work well in a team.You should also have have an excellent standard of IT, written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as strong attention to detail and an ability to be organised and to work accurately. Previous experience in a similar lettings role would be an advantage. Full driver’s licence and/or a recognized qualification such as ARLA would be desirable, though not essential in this role.
